I'm Camilla, the founder of Urdun Adventures
I moved from Sweden to Jordan in 2024, and this country completely stole my heart. I soon realised that many people back home had the wrong image of Jordan, they see it as unsafe or unknown, without knowing how welcoming, peaceful and beautiful it truly is. I want to change that image...
That’s how Urdon Adventures was founded
Today, I live in Amman with my husband and our Jordanian rescue dog Boos. This is home for me and now I want to help you experience it too. My passion is to create journeys that don’t just show you the famous places but let you feel Jordan: the people, the food, the silence of the desert, and the warmth of daily life.
When you travel with us, you’re never alone. I’m here in Amman to welcome you when you arrive, and if I’m not available, one of my trusted Jordanian partners will be. We collaborate only with local guides and small businesses, because your trip should also support the communities that make this country so special.

About Jordan
Before I came here, I didn’t know much about Jordan, mostly just Petra, and that the country is somewhere in the Middle East. Back home in Sweden, the image we often get of this region is shaped by the news with stories that can make people feel uncertain or even afraid. Many believe Jordan isn’t safe to visit.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Jordan is one of the most welcoming, breathtaking, and peaceful countries in the world. It breaks my heart that so many people miss out on its magic simply because they don’t have the full picture. That’s why I started Urdon Adventures, “Urdon” means Jordan in Arabic.
Through Urdon Adventures, I want to show you the real Jordan: the warm people, the red deserts, the hidden valleys, the taste of cardamom coffee shared under the Milky Way.
